My hair is full of static, my hands are dry, my lips are chapped…..what’s going on here? Oh right, it’s winter. I’m sure all of you have experienced these oh so lovely nuances of the cold weather just like me, so to try and help I’ve decided to highlight some of my favorite products to use during the aching months of winter.
- Chapped Lips? Medicate!
Our medicated lip balm is a life saver for me during the winter when my lips can never get enough moisture. Made with camphor and menthol it is both soothing and refreshing. It is instant relief in a tiny tube…don’t leave home without it.
- Dry Hands? Lather up.
I feel like winter sucks the life out of my hands, so having some lotion nearby is a must for me. I have it in my purse, on my nightstand, on my desk, in my bathroom…you name it, it’s everywhere. My favorite scent that we offer is our new Cucumber Melon. It has a light sweet scent that doesn’t overpower. Our formula soothes and replenishes dry skin with aloe, essential oils and vegetable glycerin…without being greasy.
- Winter means cold and flu season – protect yourself.
Hand Sanitizer may be my favorite product of all time because it’s useful year round, not just during winter when germs seem to swarm the air. The Hand Sanitizer Spray Pen is perfect because it’s slim design means I can have it with me at all times. Of course any hand sanitizer is good to keep around, especially because it kills 99.9% of germs on contact. Take that, rhinovirus. (Side note: some of our hand sanitizer is on special the entire month of January - score!)
- What’s better in winter than a nice, hot beverage?
Mmm….hot chocolate, chai tea, latte….some of my all time favorite drinks, which is why I have an abundance of tumblers to aid my obsession. Like our soft touch tumbler, which is great for people like me who tend to spill things all over themselves (enter, spill resistant lid). And the fact that it can keep your drink hot OR cold for hours is another bonus. Extremely handy and fully functional. Love it.
